I am so grateful to the EDGE team. I drove 5 hours to look at a used car and needed a pre purchase inspection on a Friday at 5pm and they were there for me. This team is trustworthy, kind, and genuinely cares about people. Thank you!

NASA Norcal Sears Point - 8/28-29/21

NASA Norcal Sears Point - 8/28-29/21

It’s How You Finish!  The green #38 and red #37 fight hard all weekend, and a rookie behaves himself    Saturday ST4 Qualifying For this weekend we had the #38 (Shaun Webster) and #37 (Kevin Moore). Qualifying wasn’t smooth with #38 and #37 struggling through traffic to attempt a clean flying lap. Shaun was able to get a semi-clean lap and got P2 right at the checkered flag. Kevin was just a bit slower qualifying P4.  Our Rookie, John was comfortable on 100 treadwear tires and qualified 8th with no incidents.  Congratulations to Scott S. on a great qualy and P1. Saturday ST4 Race Shaun #38 With a good start in P2, we almost got side by side with Scott S. in turn 2. We had the whole race in front of us and Shaun knew there would be other opportunities. Behind Scott and Shaun was Kevin Moore, Jason B., John B., and Adrian M. fighting like four frat boys at a Best Leg contest and it was the race to watch.  With a race-long fight w ... read more

NASA Norcal Sears Point (Sonoma Raceway) - 6/26-27/21

NASA Norcal Sears Point (Sonoma Raceway) - 6/26-27/21

The green #38 and #37 continue to impress, AUDI is a little closer to being great    Saturday Qualifying ST4 For this weekend we were running the #38 E46 (Anthony Zwain) and #37 E36 (Kevin Moore) BMWs. Thankfully the field was well behaved for the first two laps and both cars were able to set near identical times in the first clear lap. Kevin (#37) then let Anthony by to set a fast time but he was off pace and had to settle for the first lap’s time. We were fortunate to end up in P1 for #38 and P2 for #37 with only 0.4s between the two EDGE cars and less than a second separating the top three qualifiers. The #38 was very fast and with a new motor we were not unexpectedly called to dyno. We ended up being about 15 average horsepower under spec. at 230. We decided not to take any weight out of the car to play it safe.  ST3 The AUDI had some traffic to deal with but Shaun Webster was able to set a best time of 1:44.392 on lap 3. After qualifying in P2 Shaun ... read more

NASA Norcal Sonoma (Sears Point ;)) - 5/29 & 30/21

Skeleton Crew, the AUDI is Weird, and Guaranteed Wins    With a few of our race cars down for the count, it was going to be a relatively light weekend with only the AUDI TCR in NASA ST3 and the #37 E36 BMW in ST4/TT4. Shaun Webster was going to be driving the AUDI all weekend and Anthony Zwain would be in the BMW. This was also going to be the first race weekend with our new sponsor, Dormatech. Saturday Qualifying For the ST4 car it was pretty uneventful other than some modifications to our driving style. Anthony and Jeremiah, our race engineer, wanted to work on different braking techniques to capture a few 10ths, utilizing the Bosch MK60 ABS system retrofitted into the e36 chassis. Although qualifying went very well, we blew turn 11 on our best lap and lost what seemed like an eternity. Even with our mess in 11, we still got pole position. ST3 - WE GOT POLE! NASA Norcal Sonoma - 3/27-28/21

NASA Norcal Sonoma - 3/27-28/21

So many incidents, so many flags, and a lot of success   The shop has been incredibly busy lately, but thankfully we were able to find time to prepare during the week leading up to the NASA race weekend. We had 3 cars going into Friday’s practice and were ready for three ST4 races and one Enduro, along with some TT. The AUDI TCR car would have been our 4th entry, but we need more time to properly sort the car before we race it again.  Unfortunately, we were reduced to just 2 cars for the race weekend because Aaron, one of our team drivers, found a wall that rendered his car undrivable during practice on Friday. He was OK but we were all gutted to lose his car and his presence during the weekend. Aaron has been making great progress and everyone was looking forward to some great racing with him. He will be back very soon. With 17 cars signed up for ST4/TT4, there was going to be a lot of competition, more than the previous race at Thunderhill. We like more good dr ... read more
