Oil service (engine oil filter + cabin air filters); additionally they replaced 3 power steering hoses that were starting to leak badly, and they pressure-washed the underside of the engine bay. They also cleaned the upper engine bay. The photographs show a very clean underside, and upper engine bay. All in all an excellent job.

Photos updates are provided throughout the service. I did not mind paying a little bit more at this shop versus others to get the job done right the first time. Friendly and knowledgable.

NASA Norcal Sonoma - 10/9-10/21

Short and Sweet! 

It was another great weekend of racing but it wasn't very exciting, which is nice sometimes ;).

ST3 - Qualifying, Saturday Race, and Sunday Race

Qualifying was uneventful and with only 1 other car that was off the pace in ST3, P1 was easy for both Saturday and Sunday.

It felt like it was just us in the Dormatech AUDI TCR in ST3 and we won the race on Saturday and Sunday. It really doesn’t feel like winning but it’s what happens when there’s you and only one other car in class that is still being developed and well off of the pace. 

ST4 Race

Qualifying

Saturday qualifying went well but the #38 in P2 was almost 3/10s behind Scott Smith in P1 with our #37 in 3rd. Sunday was a little better in ST4 with the #38 in P1. Unfortunately, our #37 qualified 4th. 

Saturday

The #38 won with Justin Sprugasci in 2nd and Kevin Moore in the EDGE #37 3rd.  

Sunday

The #38 won the ST4 race again and placed P1 overall. Justin Sprugasci was 2nd again with Jason Beacham in 3rd this time while the EDGE #37 ended up in 5th. 

Time Trials

On Saturday we ran the Dormatech AUDI TCR in TT3 and won with a 1:44.998. The #37 EDGE BMW E36 M3 won TT4 with a 1:56.935.

Sunday was similar with the AUDI taking TT3 in 1:44.329. TT4 was a little different with the #38 EDGE BMW E46 M3 winning in 1:45.389 and our #37 was 2nd 1:46.571.
