BMW makes battery replacements complicated and time consuming, and requires electronically “”registration”” of the battery with a BMW specific tool. Andrei did a great job of quickly identifying the correct BMW battery (out of 6 possible!), and got me in and out of Edge early that same day. Thanks!

First off, I never write reviews. I’ve maybe written one other one before. I just had to share my recent experience with edge. I was in the market to buy a used bmw e46 m3. I was referred to Edge from a friend to get the pre purchase inspection done on the car prior to purchase. I contact Edge and a few other shops to get quotes. I could tell this was the place I wanted to go just from the initial phone call. They are very professional and knowledgable about Bmws and other German cars. Plus, they had the best price out of the “”reputable”” shops that I had called. Win win. I was in a situation where I couldn’t be there for the inspection but wanted to pay for it and have the seller(owner) drop the car off at the shop. I arranged this over the phone. (I never actually even went in to the shop) Andre helped me out, would highly recommend this guy. I offered to give a credit card over the phone but he said it wasn’t necessary until after the inspection. Plus, he released the inspection results only to me via email and left it up to me to release to the owner since I was the one paying. After getting the inspection results back(which was an incredibly detailed inspection, nothing was overlooked), I had a ton of questions regarding the various things that came up. Andre walked me through the entire inspection over the phone and even gave me recommendations on the purchase. He never once recommended I get the car worked on there, he was completely genuine in helping me with my purchase. I appreciated this very much. I even called back hours later with follow up questions and he made time to answer them fully on a second phone call with me. Overall had a great experience working with this shop and would recommend to anyone. I will definitely be getting future inspections done here and when I finally make a purchase will be getting work done here as well.

About a month ago the climate control unit of my car failed and I contacted Erfan to see if he was able to find me a used one. Within a very short time he confirmed that he could help so I had my girlfriend pick up another climate control unit. It was a weekend and I swapped the units, drove to Monterey and for the past two weeks I had no issues. I am very happy the A/C system in my car works again, especially in the hot weather. EDGE Motorworks gets another 5-star review for the impeccable help and service.
