Our 4-year, 50,000 Mile Warranty on parts and service is a groundbreaking advantage for customers that use independent repair shops. The EDGE warranty exceeds those of other independent shops as well as the repair warranties that BMW and MINI offer.

  • This applies to standard services and repairs using OEM and OEM-grade components. This includes some repairs using aftermarket components. 
  • Many modifications and repairs on classic cars comply with the EDGE warranty. 
  • Performance modifications may comply with our warranty’s requirements. 
  • We will let you know before performing any work.

Why did we do this?

Since opening in Mountain View (now in Fremont, CA) EDGE offered the standard 2-year 25K mile warranty on parts and service.

When we followed up with customers to see how their cars were performing over time, we realized that we were doing something right. Our upgraded components, commitment to the best possible repair, and years of experience resulted in repairs that kept cars on the road far past the standard warranty.
It was clear! Double the industry-standard warranty period to 4-years or 50,000 miles.

Because we’ve repaired, built, and raced BMWs, MINIs, Porsches, and many other makes for years, we know their inherent weaknesses and the best modifications for any conditions. Out of this experience comes our intuition and know-how. This directs our choice for the best parts often not meant for a particular application but much better than the original factory-specified components.

Appointments

  • Choose your services or schedule an inspection to determine what is needed.
  • If you’re a previous customer, the appointment scheduler will display all of your previous services and any deferred work.
  • Drop-offs are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
  • Before or after-hours drop-offs can also be arranged.
